Happy Halloween!

I've been busy working on my baby girl's Halloween costume.  She's going to be a pink crayon this year. Oh, and we of course had to make a matching costume for her favorite dolly.  They are adorable!

I'm happy to share that Tidbitz In Time's November kit is now available.  This kit has my favorite October Afternoon alphas.  I seriously use them on all of my layouts.  Love!!

I have one more sneak I want to share.  I must admit that it has been a crazy week and I'm happy with myself for getting any scrapping in.  Little pat on the back for me.  

I'm so looking forward to the weekend and having my hubby home with me the entire time.  That makes me very happy!  :)

Tidbitz In Time

I am the guest designer at Tidbitz In Time for November!  How amazing is that!!!

Tidbitz In Time is a monthly scrapbooking kit club that focuses on learning a new scrapbooking technique each month.  They send you super fun papers, embellishments, alphas and well, all types of really beautiful stuff to play with.

The below sneak is a page about me....  What?!?  I know, I've never done a page about me before, but I thought, hey, why not?  I think it will be fun to look back on this in 10 years and just laugh!!

A page about Little Pea and her love for PINK!

I'm hoping to have more sneaks soon.  :)  The kit is really so beautiful!  I'm having so much fun playing!

I have another layout up over at STUCK?!  This one is (big surprise) about Little Pea's 2nd birthday.  I feel like such a bad Mama.... I never got her 1st birthday scrapped, so I made sure to do this one right away. 

You can check out my completed layout here.  Of course, there is lots of PINK on the page, because my baby loves Pink!

And I was able to use that fun digi journalling spot on the page.  

Here is the STUCK?! sketch.  I flipped it on it's side and made it into a 12X12 page.

Playing in PSE

 It's been a busy past couple of days around our house.  My sister and family came down for a visit and well, we never sit still with three kids running around.  We went to Legoland and Disneyland back to back days.  I've had my exersice for the year.  :)

In the mist of all of this fun fun fun I have been playing with Photo Shop Elements (PSE).  I finally got Photoshop and am still learning all of the tricks.   

I added some rounded corners to this photo.  You can find the tutorial I used here.

I think it's going to take me a long time to learn PSE, but it will be a fun process.  If you have any favorite tutorials or Photoshop functions please let me know.  :)

Getting Wet

The weather has finally caught up to us.  It rained today.  Not a heavy rain, just a nice drizzle that turned to actual rain and then turned back to a drizzle again.  It was the perfect day to introduce "rain" to Little Pea.  

Of course she saw rain last winter, but everything is so new to her this year. (Another year older really makes a difference.)  It's like seeing things for the first time.  I love her excitement.  She was over joyed to put on her rain coat and prance around with her umbrella.  

I'm thinking she needs rain boots next.

Tinkle R Layout

 

Is it really October??  You wouldn't know it around my neighborhood.  It's been 80 to 90 degrees all week.  Some Fall we are having.

But, since is really is October, I have a new layout to share.  I have to admit, this sketch is my absolute favorite that STUCK?! has put out.  It is so easy and elegant at the same time.  My page came together in no time at all.  

Journalling reads:  

You love to “sing” these days.  One of your favorite songs is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.  When you sing, all that comes out is, “Tinkle R” over and over.  Daddy and I think you are just the cutest thing ever when you sing for us.

Pinkalicious

I knew it was only a matter of time before this book made it's way into our household.  What I didn't realize was just how seriously cute it is!  I even love this book.  Okay, I would love it more if I didn't have to read it 18 times a day, but it is very cute.  And my Little Pea just can't get enough.  I just know she dreams of it at night, because in the morning she asks to read it first thing.  If you have little girls you NEED this book.  They will love it!

My little girl loves PINK and it doesn't look like that is going to stop any time soon.  Thanks for the new book Grammie!
